Craig are you talking about the cheaper gowesty $100ea black steel bumpers or the heavier duty $350ea plate steel bumpers. I have the heavier more robust $350ea plate steel bumper and they are super stout. I have a very early version since mine came with the receiver hitch built into the bumper so that may be the reason why, now i think its a separate item.

Frank, another item to consider is add on items for each make of bumper. Meaning do you want to add a rear spare tire carrier to your van and if so do you want it bumper mounted or mounted onto the back of the van itself. these different options and whats available to each style of bumper should also be something to consider...
