If crossing Virginia on I-64E and picking up I-95S here at Richmond you'll have missed the worst of I-95.  Smart move.  Have a safe trip!  I'll likely be out and about this weekend but probably not in our grey '87 Westy so if you get honked at by a "civilian" it might be me.  Humorous Southernism lesson below: Y'all = singular. All y'all = plural Stephen On Wednesday, April 30, 2014 9:31 AM, David Bjorkman <ddbjorkman@VERIZON.NET> wrote: Hi Volks; My daughter Elyssa had requested a trip to Myrtle Beach for a week to visit family for her college graduation gift.  She graduated (quite well, her proud Dad says) so my lovely wife Diane and I are going to travel from Boston to Myrtle Beach on Friday and Saturday May 2+3.  My two girls, Ariel is the other one, are flying down on Saturday due to work constraints.  We will be driving halfway across Massachusetts and cutting down through the back side of Pennsylvania to Rt. 81.  We like to avoid Rt. 95 through NY, Washington, etc., and the west side of those mountains is a real pretty trip.  Especially when compared to the citified coastal route.  We plan on making it to Virginia on Friday (?), do an overnight at a campground, or in the worst case a Walmart, and then crossing the Appalachians over to Rt. 95 and down to Myrtle Beach.  Actually we are staying in Surfside.  This will avoid some of the hub-bub. We are in a white '87 Westy with the early round headlight setup.  If you see us, be sure to honk and wave.  We will be looking for you.  If you want to come by and say "Hi" and are in the Myrtle Beach/Surfside area, our phone number is 781-484-6218.  I feel fairly safe telling all you this 'cause we are a good group.  I will have my laptop, but may not be using it much, so e-mail contact will be spotty at best. Hope to see some of you all (trying some vernacular for the South) Dave B.
