My last three rounds of boots, purchased locally, each lasted nine months. Then on recommendation from the list I ordered Bus Depot boots. I could tell when I opened the package that they were thicker, more resiliant, better. They have been on the car not a year yet but with far more miles than I normally drive in a year, and all is well. I checked them yesterday. The price is good, too.

All that said, you can still get thick german boots at the dealer, but they are $200/set for 2WD.
