Subject: Power mirrors switch substitutes
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Thanks volks - found my Volvo engine swap guy at his shop in Portland OR and will visit his van shortly.

Now... Cunegonde is an 83.5 and of course had the usual flag mirrors. We're ready to install power mirrors but don't have the OEM switch/wiring harness for them. Dash is out and I've copied the wiring from the 1991 diagram. Including hooking up the mirror heater power supply via the rear defrost circuit (do I need a relay for the additional load?). But what do you all recommend as a switch, and where are some places to locate it? All instrument cluster switch locations are taken.
