Dynamat and their competitors offer some very nice under hood solutions for noise and heat. Any of them better than that factory mess. Shop online and you will find more reasonable prices. Done right you can also reduce some of the rust causing moisture issues.

I am working on installing a rebuilt engine in my '85 Westy (actually, the local shop is working on it) and the firewall insulation is really bad shape. Does anyone have any suggestions on replacing this, as far as finding materials, or options for different materials?
