All, I've been lurking for about a month now. My thanks to all the well wishes after our house fire about a month ago. Also, kudos and thanks to all who provided key troubleshooting tips after I (stupidly) disconnected a (then) unknown wire from the starter hot terminal, cutting off power to the rest of the computer/ignition system. I'll never make that mistake again ;) Anyhow, after replacing a lot of items for maintenance; (plugs, wires, cap & rotor, complete fuel system, water pump, hoses, filters, and fuel injectors, I was happy and the van was "singing" when things were good. She got me through a long process of moving both the household goods and family. Sadly, all good things come to an end. The DAY after I finished moving, she blew a head gasket and took yet another flatbed ride home in shame. I have a motor that was waiting to go in my Syncro (pending a full fuel system overhaul since it's time and the motor is out) but since I'm now in a rental (ugh), as per the subject line of my message; When swapping from flywheel to flexplate, is there any special notes, torques, sealants, lubes or warnings to pay attention to? I've never had to change one out as I've always had a matching spare available when swapping engines.

Thanks,

TJ 87 Wolfsburg automatic
