Hi Pete, 1990 Westy, 105,000 2000 Passat, 260,000 2003 Jetta TDI, 5 speed manual, 285,000 2014 Jetta TDI, 6 speed manual, 11,000

I would be still driving the '03 Jetta, but my daughter needed a car, so I gave it to her. My first water-cooled VW was an '84 diesel Rabbit. I had 325,000 miles on it when I sold it. I just couldn't take the 45 horsepower any longer. The '03 Jetta was like a rocket ship by comparison - it went tons faster And got better mileage. Mike M
