You are paying a premium for some reason. We have the blue stuff for $24 a gallon which is a lot for antifreeze but way cheap than what you are paying. Some folks just insist on the blue goo so we have it for them. I like to use premixed antifreeze because it is ready to go, and also has better water in it (I assume) than what I am getting out of my tap. Harbor Freight has been having Peak long life premix for around $8 a gallon here in NJ for a while now. A really great deal in my opinion. There are only a couple of factories in the US that make antifreeze so going by brand is really kind of worthless. Probably why they use colors to differentiate the OE stuff. Otherwise it would be hard to charge so much money for it once people found out it was the same as what they could buy at Walmart :-)
