This is all in the shifter itself. The ball socket at the bottom is worn or the spring set is not holding it where needed. With the shifter too low it act as if you are pushing it down past the reverse lock out. Hi to all, I have this transmission stick shifter that when I pull it to the 1-2 position, often easily jumps over to face the reverse position. I guess, there is something that supposed to stop it there but it’s not resisting enough and lets it to go to the left too much where reverse is. Question; can this be fixed without taking the tranny apart or it’s and ‘inside job’. And what would it be called if I want to find it in the book. Thanks God for the List, Zoltan |
