Howdy, I have a set of these: http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/page_1572_341/carrot-alloy.html running 225/75-15 tires. The ET on these is 25, and I do not have any rubbing on the sliding door. There's an obvious gap that I haven't yet measured. I'm wondering if anyone in vanagon-land is running 235/75-15 on them, and if they have rubbing on the sliding door. I've seen 235/75-15 mounted on GW wheels, with an offset of 23, and they just barely rub. So I'm wondering if I can get away with this. It's relevant as there are more tire choices in the larger size. Happy Trails, Joel |
