I know there are some folk that have considered the Sprinters as the replacement of choice in modern vans for our beloved boxes. But not me. I think they are too big, and not particularly attractive.

Last Friday, I saw a new van that definitely caught my eye. A Dodge ProMaster. The version I saw was the short wheel base low top one one. Nifty looking. They’re front wheel drive (only). Choice of gas or diesel (curiously the transmission is auto for the gas, and manual for the diesel).

Bigger than a Ford Transit Connect, smaller than any Sprinter. Apparently it is derived from the Fiat Ducato <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_Ducato>
