Well yeah if I'd a had the cash I would have gone with the RA 0 8s
again...they are good and not that expensive...There was also shipping to
contend with in MY decision and a time factor...so I went with these
unknowns...
Are any tires rated specifically for Vanagons? What does that mean
anyhow?
These complied with the load ratings and they seem to flex and drive just
like those RAO 8s...they work fine as fronts with Nokian on the rear...so
the tires match well with 'approved Vanagon' accepted tires... When I
ordered the ones I have they were in the Commercial Vehicles section of the
Tireseasy site...now I see they're over on the passenger list...do whatever
you think you should for tires.....I just passed along my short (around 10k
miles so far) experience with these economical tires that I personally
think are just fine on Vanagons...(so far)
