Snap! I parked on the left side of a narrow one way street yesterday and thought it would be wise to fold my passenger side mirror in. I do this often with the driver's side, but the passenger side promptly snapped and went loose. When I got home and disassembled it I found the metal post inside had sheared. Anybody know of a fix for this? Is there some maintenance I should do to prevent this on the driver's side? The van is an 87 Syncro GL with the "aerodynamic" power mirrors. It is mounted on the door with three screws. I am aware there are "flat" mirrors that mount with two screws. Thanks in advance. Steve Sent from my iPhone |
