I too recently wondered about this. An online (ad?) made me wonder. Van-cafe shows only one and vagcat.com ETKA shows ignition switch part number 111905865L for 1980, 1987, 1990 under 1968-1992 Type 2 and PN 111953631 for wire terminal plastic housing.
