Hehe... Dick might find my hose guy 1,900.3 miles closer than Houston. In fact, he has to pass right by where I live on his way home from work.

Besides, I am working on a 5-cyl conversion with AC similar to his. He has even seen my engine in person before I yanked it out of the donor. Chances are, our AC hose specs are the same.

I took the old hoses they matched the lenghts and cut the fittings out and welded them in to the new hoses. And all for a very reasonable price. System is tight and have not had to add freon since. > Cheers > Jaime > > > ________________________________ > From: Dick Wong <sailingfc@DSLEXTREME.COM> > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Sent: Monday, May 19, 2014 1:53 AM > Subject: A/C hose > > > Hi All, > > Need some help with an A/C hose. > > The high pressure hose from my A/C compressor to the front of the van has > been burned from the engine fire.
