I was at the local cnc place the other day picking up some work. They were unloading some aluminum bar stock, 1.5" square or there abouts. Turning it into picatinny type rails with a wrap down, almost around. You know, for some sort of lead chucking device. Anyway, the making meant about 80% of the aluminum would be turned into chips. I thought hey, with a big enough cnc mill, and bar stock, I could make a vanagon shell.

Cool, well cold, eh?
