I have been a member of the list for a long time but don't have the expertise to share.  I still enjoy reading the list and following what is going on.

My daughter has moved near Austin Texas with her TDI Passat.  She is having problems and the mechanics have not been able to cure the problem. Her main issue now seems to be with the ignition switch, but I would like to try to find an honest reliable mechanic for her.   Does anyone know of a good mechanic in or around Austin?
