You really can't go wrong with New Balance - I'm on my feet on concrete and vinyl-over-concrete in the teaching lab all day, and very happy with the New Balance walking shoes. My are black for dress code reasons, but they come in white as well, and the wide range of sizes and widths made fitting easier.
