Subject:      Door screen removal and repair question

Hi listers,


        I just realized the screen on the door of my 85 Westfalia has a nasty crack across the edge of the frame toward the back of the van. 


        I'm not sure how to remove it to see about repair or replacement. 


As it is compromised can someone give me directions on it's removal?


also, any ideas on where I might find a replacement if I'm unable to repair it?


I'm hoping to improve or strengthen the cracked area as the screen is still in over all good condition.


tips greatly appreciated.  Remember I need verbal description and not pictures
