I guess you could get a lot done in a short period of time if you have 22 guys standing around waiting on you. In the early clip the guy clearly states they were only allowed 4 pit crew members to work on the car. Never underestimate the amount of stuff a large group of guys can get done when they have nothing better to do (The pyramids anyone :-)
