The 82 radiator version has been obsolete for a very long time. The best answer is to replace it with the later one. Lots of people have done this. I have done it to several 82 vans myself. To do this you need a few other parts. Mostly a later fan shroud, the later lower radiator brackets, later radiator hose, later fan switch, and switch pigtail. You can use your existing fan motor but you need a metal shroud with the same size mounting hole pattern for the fan motor. Where are you located?
