"How do you fix what ain't broke?"
Oy, tell me about it. I have this weird thing that happens only during
really hot weather and only when pulling up a long hill where the engine
repeatedly cuts out for a few seconds, then restarts to continue pulling
up the hill, then cuts out for a few seconds . . . wash, rinse, repeat.
It's not the kind of thing I can cause to happen except when on a long
drive in hot weather up long grades. Based on suggestions from
listmembers I've done this, I've done that. Fuel filters, ECU, coil.
Yet it persists and I'll be doggoned (a word my old man used) if I can
find the problem. Standing at the side of the highway in 100 degree (F)
weather with the sun baking one's head and cars and truck blowing by is
not an ideal environment to sort things like this out.
DO NOT LET THIS DERAIL JRODGER'S THREAD. I'M ONLY COMMENTING. IF YOU
WANT TO BE HELPFUL (AND HELPFUL IS GOOD) THEN P-MAIL ME OR START A NEW
THREAD. LIKE "ROCKET'S VAN'S STUPID HOT WEATHER STEEP GRADE CUTOUT PROBLEM"
