This info should be in the archives, but I've seen 30ºF or more below ambient when using any of the 3 modes.

Assuming all is working correctly, the fridge can still take some time (hours) to get cool regardless of mode used.

The only reason I used 12V mode on my Dometics was that over time (years of use), they wouldn't stay lit on propane while driving under certain conditions. (strong side winds) This could also have been due to the servicing I did on them. (eg. subtle incorrect alignment of flue parts)
