I'm confused David. What would you expect to pay for a basically sound 91 Westy. While I haven't seen the vehicle in person I wouldn't classify it as junk yet. I would have to see the extent of any rust. For $2000 you might be getting a pretty good deal. And for roughly $5000 more it's running and drivable. I don't think $7000 total investment too bad to have a fairly decent 91 Westy. Check around for the prices of the same year in a Westy and I hardly think you'll find many under $10K...
