Before going Android look at developing a web app. Android may be "king of the hill" now, but so was Apple before Android, Blackberry before Apple and PALM before Blackberry. Thanks, Tom Hargrave www.kegkits.com www.stir-plate.com www.towercooler.com www.grow-sun.com www.raspberryproject.com Did you try to call & I did not answer? I apologize but I never answer numbers I don't recognize because I'm tired of sales people trying to sell me life insurance, health insurance, Obama insurance, merchant services, very expensive money and the latest, greatest "guaranteed to make millions" investment. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM] On Behalf Of Caleb Herbert Sent: Saturday, June 7, 2014 1:54 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Fri Stuff: Android Developer Needed, Camping Related On Fri, 6 Jun 2014 16:07:17 -0700 > In recent email exchanges with the owner and builder of Ultimate > Campgrounds I asked it he had any plans for an Android app (having > seen that there was an iPhone/iPad app available). To anybody involved in making this app: please make it freedom-respecting software so that it can be included on all app repositories, including F-Droid. I might even be able to pay you to develop it as free software, just to make sure that it gets done in an ethical way. For info on making F-Droid and free software for Android, please visit <http://replicant.us>. If you don't understand why free software is important, please read the short informational at <http://softwareliberty.org>. When you develop programs to respect users' freedom, you make the world just a little better. -- Caleb Herbert Protect yourself: <http://emailselfdefense.fsf.org> |
