I put this in my Netflix queue and watched it last night. I found it to be a very interesting documentary on American life with lots of enjoyable characters, all encountered on a cross country journey with nothing but a cell phone and a laptop (and a camera man). Modern hippies (that's where the beater Vanagon comes in), assorted free spirits, a Middle Eastern immigrant extended family, a hoarder, and numerous others. All capped by an interview with Craig Newmark himself. Well worth watching to learn about another kind of "social network." Thanks for the tip! Very very fun documentary to watch! A young man named Joe decides to live one month on the kindness of strangers met thru craigslist! I am a craigslist junkie myself, so i thought, what the heck! Might as well see if it's enjoyable! It was fun, inspiring, and even included a guy named Travis and his POS 1985 Vanagon driving from LA North to Portland. News flash, they didn't make it all the way. Breakdowns galore. Even that was fun to watch, as I have also broken down many times driving all over this country, and have met many kind souls willing to lend a hand! Anyway, I have to give the movie a recommendation, as it truly made my day watching it! Hope it does yours too!
