Maybe you could check it out. It's a stretch to call it an Adventurewagen since it appears to be a DIY hybrid--AW top grafted to a Vanagon with a seat from a Weekender and homemade cabinets. But it could be a gutted AW, which would be sad. Price may be fair (depending on condition), and it might be worth converting to a Subaru engine.

I did something similar with my '68 Westy using a locally made high top, and it was a decent rig for its time.

I've seen this AW around town for a few years.

Along with Harvest Gold and Avocado Green, the fine burnt-orange on this van is a reminder of the color palette favored in the '70s.

I'll miss it -- if they actually sell it (price seems a /wee/ bit on the high side) to a buyer who doesn't live here.
