Thanks for the confirmation. I've adjusted the set screw so that the plate blocks the orifice, checked by the old fashioned mouth test.

The plate? No I didn't copy the stock arrangement with the ramps. I would have tried but for other's experiences with rebuilding the TB ( tencentlife and that other guy on the samba who dead beautiful rebuilds. Forget his name).

They both said that they noticed no difference between a flat plate and the ramped plate. I suppose I'll find out for myself.
