RE: Wing Window '85 vs. '90 BTDT, exactly the same situation. I used the wing window for air flow in my '85, not so on my '90. There is a solution. I saw a posting on the fix quite a few years ago but have no idea how to do it now. The is a tab that can be cut off if you pull the wing window apart. I've never tried to do it but I'm sure someone will jump into this thread and explain it.
