I did a similar mod some time ago though the pin I installed doesn't lock the table. What I did: https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/WestyFixes# The table now actually moves too easily; the cinch clamp isn't sufficient when driving. When driving, I bungee my table arm to a bolt at OEM threaded hole on pillar. Neil.
