Best to just get a kit from one of the vendors, they should include these hoses: http://www.van-cafe.com/home/van/page_499_286/fuel-line-replacement-kit.html

Be sure to replace the injector hoses too, unless you are having them rebuilt, then they will get new hoses.

Anyone know off-hand the ID of the fuel hose that connects the tank to the pump, the pump to the filter and the filter to the plastic fuel line?

Worked on my van early this morning while it was cool, and noted that the fuel lines look pretty ratty, and are the original from the factory - just looking for an opportunity to leak. I;m going to replace the fuel filter and figure that whilst I have the thing apart - I may as well replace those 25 year old short segments with new. While it is so hot during the day - will be over 90 degrees today with high humidity - I wanted to go and get the hose, in my son's air conditioned car) and do the repair in the morning while cool.

ETKA lists the hose by part number only - and say buy a length of hose and cut it to correct length segment. It does not give the ID in the spec.

So if anyone knows for certain the ID - I would appreciate hearing. It would save me some hassle in this heat!

Thanks,

John
