Never seen this fix talked about but if you drill a small 1/8 hole below the tightening knob in the cabinet, then mark that in line with the table leg and drill it out...you can fit a long cotter pin through it and lock the whole thing into place. I have mine set for different heights and when going camping I have it locked over the sink so I can get to the cupboards and closet that it is always blocking. Great mod and takes care of the issue with hardly any notice, looks stock.
