No open wheeled racers, and I know nothing about the lead you refer to.

But, Ron at the Bus Depot has a window seal kit for $230, and they sell the door window seals separately for about as much. He has a nice diagram too: http://www.busdepot.com/details/rubber/ I've been very happy with my door seals.

Thanks, Stuart!! Since you mentioned the vent windows, it made me think of something. Does anybody know of a source for the lead spacers that go in the vent window glass? One of mine somehow got all flattened out. I don't know if it's causing the wind whistle, but it can't help.
