Mark, Thanks for the tips. I pulled the relay out of the socket, stuck in two flattened wires - one in the 30 and one in the 87, connected the remote switch alligators to the wires, moved the tranny to neutral, turned on the switch, went back and pulled the trigger. Engine turned right over and kept turning as long as the trigger was pressed. Tried to start - but didn't - and there-in is my problem. But I will work on it tomorrow. Thanks again.
