I took an MV engine code core to a rebuilder to trade for my new rebuild but he refused to take it because the case was not tapped for the oil pressure switch to the left of the pulley. He said that is how he tells a 1.9 case from a 2.1. No amount of arguing about DH vs MV engine codes would convince him. Is there a legitimate reason for an MV 2.1 case to NOT be tapped for the switch? By the way, the core came from an '85 van with digijet FI and was plumbed (water pump, coolant lines) like a 1.9.
