And another $2K for all the custom exhaust, intake and adapter bits.

You would then have a wonderful engine for which parts and service experience are not readily available in North America.

Subaru Canada has been promising us for a few years that this engine was coming, but my guess is the Canadian market is not large enough to warrant the cost of certification and ramp-up of support logistics and the U.S.A. market just isn't there.
