Subject: Syncro fuel tank issues
Content-type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252

My 91 (non-GL) Syncro is in the shop. They pulled the tank to install new stainless straps (mine had rusted through). When they put it back they discovered a fuel leak. This appears to be on one of the non-replaceable connectors (I believe the one the fuel pump connects to, as opposed to the white vent ones at the top. They ordered a replacement tank from JC Whitney (I’m nearly positive, it won’t be a syncro tank).

Van-cafe’s tank reseal kit doesn’t appear to have this connector.

Anybody got thoughts on a replacement for this connector? Or source for syncro tank?
