I recall being told that the actual readings are not important, but that
they should be linear, without any drops, which would indicate a worn spot.

|along the movement of the flap, is that better than a high
|value of 1.2 or even a high value of .6 since any of those
|would provide a resistance change.

|Or, should I be looking at values when the flap is fully
|opened?  Or should I be looking for some other variance?
