Today I moved my 82 Westfalia , which has been parked for a year, and couldn't get it to start. It 
appears the solenoid is not working. 

So a friend helped me push start it, and I parked it next to the driveway, removed the battery, and washed it. 
A short while later , I noticed the battery level light glowing red, and 
the Heidleberg radio fake alarm light flashing-and the battery is OUT. 
???
