On those 2 wires plugging into the side of the relay box, the red wire is constant battery power for use by the fuel injection system, so careful, always hot, no fuse. The red/black wire is the starter motor signal wire, from circuit 50 of the starter switch, and this is where it joins with the fuel injection harness so the ECU and ICU can tell when the engine is being started. My suggestion was to somehow maintain the connection of the red wire while preventing the red/black from connecting through into the FI harness. If doing that keeps the starter from remaining activated then you at least know where to dig deeper.

The 2 pin connector there is just standard 1/4" spade pins. A short piece of wire with a male spade end and a female spade end would let you bridge the red wire alone.
