Thanks to everyone who provided information on how to do the test. Like a lot things, once you learn how to do something, it is not really hard or complicated.

Using information from Neil, Karl, David and others the test was pretty simple. I ended up testing my existing AFM, the new one Jarrett helped me acquire, and a spare that a friend has. All three passed with flying colors and the analog meter needle moved smoothly on all three. Before testing, I took the time to clean all three with CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner. The inside body of mine with 160K miles was pretty clean already but the one my friend had was terribly gunked up but sparkles now.

Since I learn visually, the video at this link also helped: http://goo.gl/UXRcVK

Thanks everyone,

Harold
