F12 sets focus to the map in case it's not (same as by clicking on the map but without other cursor side effects like centering on the click).

The voice commands are powerful, things like Where am I?, Are we there yet?, Center on next stop, autorotate map on/off, Autozoom map on/off, Center on gPS, Stop center on GPS, GPS status, zoom in six dimes, zoom level 15, Pan left/right/up/down (may let you say how many times, not sure), Show directions, Show list, Back on track, Voice nav on/off (that's it telling you what's coming up), Shush (stop what you're saying but keep on telling me things), Repeat last command, What can I say? (open voice command tap, unfortunately pretty small print), More commands (page down the voice command list). Pretty much anything you might want to do without stopping you can do by voice commands.

Ok, that's at least a faint taste of the way the thing operates. I do think the intent is to smooth the path for an accustomed user at the expense of making the learning curve somewhat shallow (or steep, if you prefer the rearranged version). You might consider taking another look.

("See Below" stuff is beneath signature)

Yrs,
d

Below:
Business and residential listings, listed only. I don't know how good or complete it is, but FWIW if you live let's say not unadjacent to the 5/405 crossing, DeLorme thinks I can be there in about 52 hours and your phone contains the first seven digits only. It (the program, not the phone database) has this data on tap about the town (or perhaps it's the zip code), which is among what comes up when I right-click on your location and select Info.** There's also business data by sector for Snohomish County*** and a coverage list with frequencies and call signs for AM and FM radio..

If you right-click a point on a street you can find all known numbers on either that block or the entire street, and you can easily arrange to have them displayed along the street. Residential have pointy tops, businesses don't. You can select to find only business, only resident, both when you're doing a search.

**Land Area: 11.7 sq mi

Water Area: 109.3 ac
Population Total: 44,026
Population 18 years and over: 32,855
Population White race alone: 33,967
Population Black/African American alone: 1,137
Population American Indian or Alaska Native alone: 407
Population Asian alone: 5,489
Population Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander alone: 176
Population some other race alone: 956
Population two or more races: 1,894
Population Hispanic or Latino: 2,297
Population Male: 21,812
Population 65 years and over Male: 1,544
Population Female: 22,214
Population 65 years and over Female: 2,290
Population 65 years and over: 3,834
Population Median Age: 32.9
Population Median Age Male: 32.0
Population Median Age Female: 33.9
Population under 20 years: 12,433
Population under 20 years Male: 6,376
Population under 20 years Female: 6,057
Households: 17,125
Population in Households: 43,651
Household Average Size: 2.55
Households One-person: 4,321
Households Two-person: 12,804
Housing Units: 17,974
Housing Units Occupied: 17,125
Housing Units Vacant: 849
Housing Units Owner-Occupied: 9,345
Housing Units Renter-Occupied: 7,780
Housing Units Vacant Seasonal/Recreational/Occasional: 34
Housing Units One-person household: 4,321
Housing Units Two-person household: 5,763
Housing Units Three-person household: 2,938
Housing Units Four-person household: 2,472
Housing Units Five-person household: 1,037
Housing Units Six-person household: 379
Housing Units Seven or more person household: 215
Population 15 years and over: 34,261
Population 15 years and over Male: 16,582
Population 15 years and over Male Never Married: 5,182
Population 15 years and over Male Married: 9,328
Population 15 years and over Male Widowed: 197
Population 15 years and over Male Divorced: 1,875
Population 15 years and over Female: 17,679
Population 15 years and over Female Never Married: 4,311
Population 15 years and over Female Married: 9,488
Population 15 years and over Female Widowed: 1,198
Population 15 years and over Female Divorced: 2,682
Households English Language: 13,441
Households Spanish Language: 703
Households other Indo-European Language: 1,116
Households Asian or Pacific Language: 1,600
Households Other Language: 219
Population 5 years and over: 40,377
Population 5 years and over -
