Jimmy, glad you saved this one. I have some good used computers here if you are in need of one of those. Also the shifter I would get a new cup, ball, and boot at the least, probably a new rear bushing as well. We have all of those parts available, if you want I can type up and estimate for you and email it over.

That connector doesn't actually connect to anything. It was a diagnostic port for a VW special tool that has been obsolete for probably at least 20 years. So just leave it alone and don't need anything plugged into it.
