Subject: Can an 091 trans be installed in place of an 091/1
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

I'm pretty sure I'll come to regret asking this, but I searched my Gmail archives and on the Samba, and couldn't find an definitives regarding whether this was physically possible. I know the shifter is quite a bit different, but say if one had access to a complete AC van, could the trans and shifter assembly be installed in a late model van?
