I had long suspected my radio of sucking up the battery. I got to testing things the other day, and found that the radio - with security faceplate removed - drew no power. It drew some power with the faceplate on however.

The real culprit of my drain is an aftermarket temp gauge that the PO wired into the 'always on' power instead of only during ignition on. It was drawing something silly like 200ma
