I just saw this on craigslist out it Minnesota: http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/cto/4523323089.html

This van is super cool! I would love to own one of these. Just thought I would share.

same owner since '91...so he has owned the van since it was just 7 yrs old. and he also says he did not drive it in the winter.. plus it runs and drives which makes shipping a lot easier and cheaper!!!

the layout looks like a multivan layout... and apparently it also has some sort of auxilliary gas or propane heater, i can see the thermostat dial in one of the pics.. also you can see there is a engine cushion pad...its sitting in the highroof bunk...on top of the other cushions (smaller pad is for over engine)

also the trim panels on the beltline appear to be ribbed....under the windows.... plus it has the european double insulated bubble windows in the back.

oh and the carat style bumpers - those are not retrofitted from a newer carat - those are actually original to the dehler profi vans... volkswagen liked the look and copied them for use on their later vanagons..
