Hi folks,

Last year I made some iPhone ring tones of VW sounds. I plan to re do those now that my van sounds so much better then last year. Thanks to this list I have improved horn, sliding door, engine starting, and so on.

For those of you planning on attending West River Westies this coming weekend, I can recored sounds from your van and turn them into your personal ring tones. I'll bring my portable recorder and make the recordings there. I can then create and email them to you later.

I used bus starting, horn, signal lights, and sliding door for several tones.

To find me at the event I'm in the white 85 GL Westfalia with bus depot awning and small VW tent bus for my guide dog. I'm also handing out several Vermont craft beers with bus labels as long as they last.

I'm looking forward to meeting folks this weekend.

The weather looks great so bring your tube for floating down the West River.
