I wish I could say the same for the Northeast. I see a few more in the summer, but those of us who use them all year (best vehicle IMHO for skiing, with appropriate snow tires) seem to be few and far in between. I know they are out there, it's just that one does not see them often.

I still say the victoria bc area has the highest density. Do I have numbers? No, but honestly, it is rare that on any sort of drive that I don't see at least one other vanagon.
