err, just put in a Propex.  Remember two things:
1) with this you have to deal with 24V--AND you have to deal with
"controls"--like a thermostat.
2) do you want to work on your van--or go camping?

You can save all the $$$ you want--and stay home figuring out
a 24 to 12 V converter, some sort of control, etc, etc.

I'll just go camping.  My Propex has been installed for maybe
six years.  Amortize the cost vs the unknowns of the Truma.
Then think again, "would I rather work on my van or go camping?"

My choice is clear.  Good luck with yours....
