Subject: Re: $100 Reward Results

Having worked on trucks and public transit buses and lots of other automotive forms. I would have to say that Vanagons are a bit to a lot better than most American cars. I have seen a lot of bad examples come out of Motor City. The level craftsmanship and engineering is simply inferior. I have added new wires to my 84 Westy and am still doing so. after all it is a 30 year old Camper. One thing I did was run a new heavy cable from the Pos. post on the Battery to the starter and new Grounds as well. I also ran a 6 Gauge wire from the Alt. to the Starter and a hot start relay. It was been working well for me. I got the Bus Depo Headlamp upgrade. I will install it soon. I need to trace a problem with my Audio Vox Cruise control which stopped working again. Any body have any advice? Bill Witz 84 Westy Tiico
